People come and go during our lives.
Some leave faster than they came
and some stay around forever.
You are the latter of the two.
Like the stars in the sky
your beauty shines bright in the darkness.
Like the river running through the mountains
you stand firm through the worst life has.
Unlike the leaves that are constantly changing
you stand resolute through the strongest storm.
Of the most prized items in the world
you are the greatest.
Nothing that this world has in store
can make me as happy as your smile does.
The Lord above has truly blessed me
in just having you in my life.
I can ask for nothing more from Him
for He has given me the woman of my dreams.
